Bouncing Pipe

The concrete coating process leaves a spiral line on
the 36-in diameter pipe. Note the clouds of very
heavy sediment forced up on either side of the
bouncing pipe at touchdown. An optical image would
show only a blank screen. The numbers indicate
rangein meters from the acoustic camera.
