DIDSONTM SPLITBODY STANDARD AND LONG RANGE |
The Splitbody divides the analog and digital electronics into two housings. This accommodates customers who need more flexibility in mounting the sonar on various platforms. The Splitbody (SB) has a lens compartment connected to the analog housing and an optional digital housing. Some customers prefer having the digital electronics in an existing pod and do not want the second housing. In this case the two cables would connect to bulkhead connectors placed on the existing pod. The two cables connecting the digital and analog circuits can be up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) long. The SB has a depth rating of 300 meters. Shipping crate included.
