Korea Ocean and Science Technology (KIOST) representatives visit Sound Metrics facility for training on ARIS 3000. Park, Jin-Yeong - Ph.D. / Senior Researcher, Hangoo Kang - Junior Research Scientist and Terry H.Y. Lee - Service Engineer visited for two-days of intensive hands on training with Bill Hanot. KIOST took delivery of the ARIS 3000 in July 2012. Prior to their visit to SMC, KIOST had deployed the ARIS on multiple occasions in Korea and completed side-by-side trials with other imaging sonarÆs. KIOST are very pleased and impressed with the quality of the data collected from the ARIS 3000.
