Popnet

Popnet

The popnet is slowly lowered to the sea bed and collapses there in a heap, with the
mouth held open by the rim. It is large, ~ 3 m in diameter. It is allowed to sit for 15 minutes,
then "popped" by hauling hard on three bridle lines attached to overhead structure.
