Bever Eel

Scientists at the Fisheries Association in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany, observe silver-phased
European eels as they encounter bypass systems
in hydropower plants during their downstream migration. This 800 mm long eel swims very close
to the trash rack. Several views of their DIDSON mounting system are shown.
